Becker Automotive Design’s business is booming, but not because of stimulus checks, market swings or temporary discretionary income. The Oxnard, Calif., outfitter of luxury automotive transport has cemented a place in a segment of the industry that is practically immune to market forces.
Becker’s business model is simple: provide clients with a menu of customizations to create a personalized, upscale riding experience for driver and passengers. Behind the scenes, the staff brings together features and functions like puzzle pieces, each comprising proven build, design, safety attributes. They fit together in a way that lets Becker Automotive and its staff deliver unique creations that rival OEM specifications but splurge on aftermarket uniqueness.
A Vehicle Customizer’s Dream
To make this creativity happen, Becker Automotive has a lot of capability at its three-building campus spanning 25,000 square feet. Vehicles are cut in half, stretched and structurally reassembled. Upholstered seats and surfaces are built from scratch. Screens, doors, shades and lifts are motorized. Panels, underbody and windows are armored against explosions while drivetrain and internal mechanics are strengthened to carry the additional weight.
Regardless of the requested personalization package, the common denominator is the 12-volt connectivity. Each vehicle carries miles of wiring and loads of components for premium audio, video and automation. This is the skill set that Becker Automotive is looking to bolster, with professional technicians who value working with a company in which compensation, stability and team culture are of equal benefit.
Position(s):
12-Volt Technicians (Full Time)
Qualification:
3+ Years’ 12-Volt Experience; Fabrication / Carpentry a Plus

Bring Talent, But More Important, Teamwork
Experience-wise, a minimum of three years of 12-volt installation expertise is required, and fabrication and wood working experience add to a candidate’s appeal. Becker Automotive will also help with the relocation expenses for the right team member.
The ideal technicians will join a 30-person, productive and cohesive group that features engineers, metal fabricators, carpenters, master upholsterers and electrical experts. The work environment, growth possibility, and of course pay, had to be perfect. Immediately after my first conversation with Howard Becker I knew this was my shot. Becker Automotive was everything I had imagined. The shop has all the tools and resources to perform your work at the highest level. We’ve got a specialist for every aspect of a build completion, ready to help at a moment’s notice. There are no words to describe the craftsmanship that leaves this building. If you have been waiting for the right opportunity, now is the time to join a great company! Don’t let fear of the unknown drive your decisions. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take!“
